BEWARE OF FAKES from Discount Jungle

Great product when you get the authenti artile Alpine KCE-422i. Unfortunately I purchased mine from Discount Jungle who advertize Alpine cables, then send cheap fakes to all of their customers. I tested one of them and it didn’t even work properly. They told me they’d give me a refund if I sent them back. I returned the cables and was given only a partial refund. After a outstanding deal of effort, I got numerous more of my cash back, but they refused to wholly refund me. Fortunately Amazon refunded me the rest of the cash after I made an Amazon A-Z Guarantee claim. Thank you very much Amazon! I would never ever beneath any circumstances buy anything from Discount Jungle.

It’s a cable, it works

The title in truth says it all, it’s just a cable and it works. It’s a very pricey cable by progressed standards, you’d think there was more to it than two connectors and a length of wire, but there isn’t. All the smarts are in the compatible head unit and the iPod. This is a much better solution than the former Alpine attempt, which I also have, the user interface on the new head units is also much better than antecedently and almost as usable as the iPod itself. A good solution for my 8,000 tracks on assorted hundred albums.

Fine… but not for iPhone 3g

Been using this for in regards to a year, and it works fine w/ my CDA 9857. It does work with the firstborn iPhone, but I writing to warn you…

This does *not* work with an iPhone 3g. Can’t charge the iPhone, can’t control the iPhone.
